Minds For Health is a distinguished organization based in Auburn, Maine, dedicated to providing essential mental, behavioral, and disability services. Our primary focus is serving children ages 0-21 with diagnoses of intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as individuals grappling with mental health challenges. We specialize in offering in-home and community support services designed to promote the well-being and development of those we serve. Our programs are growing; we are currently looking for a Behavioral Health Profession to join our team.

Qualifications

The Behavior Health Professional provides direct service to the child in the child’s home and community.
He or she must meet the following:

A Behavior Health Professional affirms the right of children with disabilities to have the opportunity to
make choices for themselves and to exert a measure of control over their physical and social environment.

Quality standards include the following:

Utmost respect for persons with disabilities and their families in all interactions

Knowledge of developmental disabilities and treatment/support strategies.

Participation in the implementation of an Individual Treatment Plan.

Ability to access and employ community resources.

Knowledge of individual civil rights.

Conduct all activities and interactions in a professional and caring manner.

Work cooperatively and collaboratively as a team member.
