Rehabilitative Community Support Services
Goals of the service
The primary goal of the Rehabilitative Community Support Services is to enable children with cognitive impairments to achieve a better quality of life through enhanced functionality and independence. This includes improving their ability to perform daily activities, enhancing social skills, and promoting developmental growth. The program aims to provide support that is both empowering and effective, helping these children to integrate more fully into their communities and social environments.
Target Population
Method of Program Delivery
Services under Rehabilitative Community Support Services are delivered through a combination of individual and group interventions, which may take place in home or community settings. These interventions are based on evidence-based practices and are tailored to the specific needs of each child. The delivery of services often involves a team of professionals including a program manager, and Behavioral Health Professionals, who work collaboratively to provide comprehensive support.
Additional Services and Features
The program includes the involvement of trained Behavioral Health Professionals, ensuring that the interventions are of the highest quality and are based on the latest research in the field. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on family involvement in the treatment process, recognizing the critical role families play in the child’s development and well-being.
